Columbia's "Rebel Belle" Welcomes Renowned Jazz and Soul Singer to Radio Show

Columbia, South Carolina - December 9, 2009 - With nearly three decades of professional stage experience to her credit, Sibyl English is a seasoned performer.

The North Carolina native began singing in from of audiences at age three and won her first talent contest at age five. After attending college on a full vocal scholarship, she starred in the off-Broadway sensation A Good Man is Hard to Find for four years. Additional national stage and musical productions followed, but her most personal work is self-produced music. Her new album, Love Comes Softly, serves as testament of love and affection toward her husband, Jay.

About Love Comes Softly, English says, "I've heard it said, 'A woman in love does everything better.' I sincerely believe this cliche is true if and when the love is real," adding, "It was real love that walked in, touched and strengthened my life, and caused my fragile heart to want to sing again."

English was so inspired by the theme of this work that she will kick off her Latin American tour on Valentine's Day weekend in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, premiering live performances from Love Comes Softly with other popular love songs. The romantic weekend will feature fine dining and an after-party at the five-star El Ochenta restaurant.

Sibyl English will join the Tuck Talk radio show Monday, December 14 to discuss Love Comes Softly, the upcoming Latin American tour, and the journey that has led her toward this inspiring work.
