Football and the Blonde......

With Super Bowl right around the corner, I couldn't resist sharing this joke with you. My husband, knowing my love of football, thought it would make my day. It did!! This is great...

Of all the blonde jokes, this one has to be the best -- because it makes football make sense!

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked it.

"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

Dumbfounded, her boyfriend asked, "What do you mean?"

"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was... 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!"

EVERYTHING is in Divine Right Order!

"I feel good. I feel fine. I feel this way all the time. I'm alive. I'm awake, and I feel great!!"

I don't know about you all, but I am feeling mighty grateful these days. In this New Year I'm 'rebelling' in a newfound gratitude for what I have, and for the Divine Order of things.

At the beginning of this year, I was asked the following 3 questions:

Are you doing something you truly love in life?
Are you fulfilled in your relationships?
Is your body in good health?

Without even pondering (which I LOVE to do) I responded with a resounding YES! And, in my YES, I discovered just how prosperous, happy, successful and fulfilled I really am.

At this moment, I'm happy, I'm fulfilled and I'm complete. And this moment is where I am right now.

So, my intention as I move through this much anticipated, dynamic and magical New Year of 2012 is to continue to be prosperous, happy, successful and fulfilled.

How do I intend to do that?

• With overwhelming gratitude for life as it is.
• With the awe & wonder of unlimited possibility.
• With childlike fascination for magic & synchronicity.
• With full expression from the depths of my soul.
• With joy, aliveness, stillness & peace.......and........

Trusting in the Divine Order of things!

Why do I say this? Last year someone shared a quote with me that I'd love to share with you:

"Worry is the needless disrespect of the Divine Order of things."

Ponder that for a moment. Profound isn't it?!

What are your intentions for the New Year? I'd love to hear.

Happy New Year you all......and Happy January.....breathe, relax and smile....EVERYTHING is in Divine Right Order.

A Rebel Belle's Thoughts on Happiness....

"The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event - through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you - ever, it emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are." ~Echkart Tolle - A New Earth

Many people seek HAPPINESS as a feeling that lives in some far off future, a goal to be obtained once a certain status is achieved or a material possession is secured. "I will be happy when.....", is the phrase that comes tripping off the tongue.

"I'll be happy when I meet my soul-mate," "I'll be happy when my career takes off," "I'll be happy when I have more money," "I'll be happy when I reach my weight goal." These are external goals; forms, structures, achievements, and events. And, while these goals may bring feelings of joy and happiness, these goals are transient.

Structures and forms are unstable, they're designed to change and transform; so too will your mate, your career, your financial status and physical structure. If you are attached to these forms, so too will your happiness be attached to them. And, not having them will make you feel UNHAPPY.

Happiness for a reason is a form of misery, because the reason can be taken away from you at any time. To be happy for no reason - THIS is the happiness you want to experience. ~ Deepak Chopra

When you seek happiness as a goal that can only be reached when you secure this person, place or thing, you set yourself up for a tumultuous relationship with life. You become so focused on this one and only form; the life-mate, career, or Victoria Secret body weight, that you miss the possibility of a new expression; you miss the form or new experience that is poised to rock your world.

You cut yourself off from your juiciest source of happiness; your inner self, your connection to your Creator, and the internal state of consciousness that determines how you perceive and experience the world. You literally slam the door on the Creator's ability to enrich your life in any moment with joy, peace and happiness.

The experience of happiness or unhappiness is yours to choose. You can choose freedom or you can choose form. You can seek happiness in the fulfillment of some far off future form. Or, you can tap into your internal source and reservoir of power and "be" the expression of happiness NOW.

What if your goal was simply to "be happy", connect to your inner source and enjoy the essence of ANY experience, regardless of and without attachment to the form?

Happiness Exercise:

• Examine your life. Notice all the forms that currently exist where you experience feelings of happiness. It might be dancing, volunteering, servicing others, gardening, reading, cooking, working out or spending time with your children, family or friends.

• Don't judge any of these experiences as too small or trivial, just notice what they are and write them down.

• Invest your time and energy in these experiences right now. Feel the happiness and joy of investing in these forms today, this moment, not in some far off distant future.

* Experience your expansion and joy as you invest in the essence of doing the things you love to do.

• Be patient, aware and watch as boatloads of forms and opportunities show up in your life. Feel that connection to your inner creative power. Observe your life and acknowledge. YOU ARE HAPPINESS.

Here are a few "Happy Quotes" - One for each of the next 7 days.

"Happiness cannot come from without. It must come from within. It is not what we see and touch or that which others do for us which makes us happy; it is that which we think and feel and do, first for the other fellow and then for ourselves." ~Helen Keller

"Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold, the feeling of happiness dwells in the soul." ~ Democritus

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude." ~ Dennis Waitley

"If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time." ~ Edith Wharton

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." ~ Helen Keller

"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." ~ Ramona L. Anderson

"To live happily is an inward power of the soul." ~ Aristotle
-----------------------
About the author: Tuck Self, The Rebel Belle, is a Southern voice for bold self-expression.
'Tis The Season for LISTENING!

I'm 'rebeliciously' excited to share a guest post from my friend and mentor Dr. Carol Mccall. Dr. McCall is the, founder of The Institute for Global Listening and Communication. I hope you enjoy her perspective on listening and take her up on her free tele-class offer. Being a student and partner of this work has profoundly changed my life, my relationships and the way I listen to and work with my clients.

While this is the "season to be merry", this is also the season to be stressed out! Stress, anxiety and angst lead us to behave in ways we usually later regret. During this time of year people often give in to old habits that don't usually serve their best interest. They may cave into sugar cravings, reach for the booze and overdose on caffeine.

OK! Not to belabor the point, there is another way! What's the behavior that best serves?
Listening! Choose "listening" throughout the entire day during the season.

1. Take "Listening" breaks. Upon awakening in the morning DO NOT turn on the news! Turn on your favorite inspirational recording, music, audio book or CD. "Listening" to quiet your mind before you begin your day will go a long way to get your day off to a great start and things will flow for you. In addition, whenever you feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed during the day, take a quick "listening" break 1-5 minutes to quiet yourself down. Carry soothing selections to listen to when waiting in line at the supermarket, drug store or post office.

2. "Listening" for the gold. When people attempt to push their agenda on you during this holiday season "listen for the gold". Example: Before you become frustrated with your neighbor, who keeps bringing you her "favorite" holiday recipes, or your friend Sally who keeps filling your glass with her favorite wine, stop and "listen for the gold".

Is it possible that your neighbor is being friendly and sharing the holiday spirit? Is it possible that your friend Sally is being merry "tis the season"? When you "listen for the gold" it's possible to shift from annoyance to gratitude.

3. The "Listening" list. Make a list of the "themes" you will use to listen to people each day.

Example:

Day 1 - Generosity- you will listen to people with generosity and listen to their generosity.
Day 2 - Creativity - you will listen to people for their creativity and to your creativity.
Day 3 - Simplicity - you will listen to people for the simplicity of their communication and you will practice simplicity in your speaking.

Finally, choose a daily theme by which to listen to release holiday stress. Here are some themes to take with you this holiday season - courage, motivation, freedom, adventure, kindness, energy, passion.

I invite you to join Dr. C for a quick "listening tune-up" before the holiday festivities become "bah-humbug"!

"So You Think You're A Good Listener?"

Is a free interactive tele-seminar open to individuals and groups interested in improving professional and personal relationships by becoming "masterful" listeners. Masterful listeners are efficient and productive, create win-win situations, build powerful relationships, and achieve their full potential. Poor listening skills contribute to the break-down of communication, costly mistakes, and unproductive and ineffective relationships and add to the holiday stress.

Participants will asses their own listening skills, and identify how they respond when others are speaking. They will learn alternative phrases they can use to encourage dialogue and open communication, especially during this season. At the close of the program, participants will create personal contracts to put them on the paths to becoming "masterful" listeners and powerful communicators and stress-free individuals for this holiday season and future seasons to come.

How do you do 'self love'!

This week I had a friend ask me the following question, which caused me to ponder...and I LOVE to ponder!

What do you do to pamper/honor your 'inner self' and 'inner being'? And, how do you pamper your 'outer self', your physical self?

After much pondering here was my response....

How do I pamper my outer self? Basking in sunlight, taking walks, exercising weight bearing and cardio, movement, bathes, getting my hair cut, colored and coiffured, and my very favorite 'body and foot rubs by Larry'!!

I used to get a lot of massages, acupuncture and chiropractic care. I haven't in a long while...again pondering...

How do I pamper my inner self and feed my inner soul? I LOVE this one.....

Again....basking in the sunlight, walks outside, exercise, Tub Time with Tuckie, anything that stretches and expands my conscious and unconscious capacity, being in silence, meditation, visualization....

Being with friends, like minded peeps, living my passions for coaching, teaching and speaking, leaping from the edge and trusting my wings to appear....

Finally.....Gratitude...Self appreciation and Self acknowledgement.

I believe that the greatest gift and nurturing you can give to yourself is the gift of 'self love' and 'self appreciation'. That's how come Step One of The Rebel-ution: A Woman's 'Rebelicous' Guide to Freedom, Liberation and Bold Self-Expression is: Celebrate Your Uniqueness!

Putting your self first, acknowledging your gifts and talents, loving your self completely an unconditionally is the greatest gift you can give your self, and an amazing way to practice 'self love'.

I invite you to play with me. Practice accepting your self exactly as you are, acknowledging your uniqueness, and the truth of who you are; a spiritual being having a fabulous human experience!

Take a piece of paper out and write down 5 things you LOVE and APPRECIATE about yourself. Do this tomorrow, and the day after and the day after and forever. Make it fun.

Then 'toot your horn' a li'l and share your list with a trusted friend....THAT WOULD BE ME!!!!

Here's mine for you:

I love my passion for being me and doing what I love.
I get a kick out of my sense of play, humor and fun.
I love my openness, willingness, intensity, persistence and intention to live life and squeeze it's juice.
I love my ability to engage, listen to, love and inspire others to wake up to the truth of who they are.
I appreciate my willingness to change, transform, grow and evolve; and love myself in the process.

I'll be waitin' to hear from ya!

It brings me great joy and
excitement to share such a book with you today.

Multi-Dimensional You - Exploring Energetic Evolution.

Humanity is going through enormous changes as the vibrations on the planet increase in speed. We are each doing our very best to adapt to the new vibrations and to navigate the changes they have catalyzed. In Elaine's journey and transformation we hear how one ordinary person coped with the evolutionary changes happening in her life and how you can too.

Multi-Dimensional YOU will help shift your focus from the traditional third dimensional perspective to an expanded multi-dimensional one.
