Howard Wills ~ Peacemaking Through Prayer

I recently listened to an interview with Howard Wills by Simran Singh on 11:11 Talk Radio Show. Howard's words of healing and forgiveness were simple, powerful and full of southern brilliance and charm!

Howard is a good old boy from the south raised here in Columbia, South Carolina. His story intrigues and inspires. I invite you to listen to the show and enjoy. I was grinning from ear to ear by the end of the show. Listen Here: Peacemaking Through Prayer

Simran also featured Howard in the March/April 2010 issue of 11:11 Magazine.  Here is an excerpt from her article "Practical Wisdom". The context was around a pastor's wife who had lost 85% of her vision and could no longer read. Howard worked for a few seconds with her. She picked up her Bible and read very clearly.

Why does prayer seem to work for some individuals and not others? Why do some individuals heal while others hold onto their issues?

Howard: "God is only going to give you what you want. If you genuinely desire a new experience, you will have one. If you do not want to be able to read, you won't. If you want to resist something and prove it wrong, then that is what you get to do. You get to prove it wrong. We have the power to grant ourselves the gifts of being open and receiving. You have to be open enough to see what could happen."

Fabulous article you all and a powerful interview.

Ponder this Rebel Belle's question:

What do you want in your life? Do you have it? Do you really want it or is some part of you insistent on affirming your weakness?

I'm off to smile, relax, breathe and enjoy the gift of life. Want to join me?
