Is Your Life a Magnificent Adventure?

Folks, I received this email over the weekend and found myself nodding in agreement as I read. It got me asking questions. Is my life a magnificent adventure? Am I passionately working toward my worthy goals? Am I worried about what others think of me? Am I committed to fabulous success?

"Life is to be lived as a magnificent adventure, or not at all." -- Helen Keller.

More...The sad truth is, most people live like sheep, following each other around: Go to work, get home, watch the electronic income reducer ... and continue the cycle day in and day out, living (as Emerson described it) "lives of quiet desperation" -- and thinking this is normal simply because everyone else around them is doing the same thing!

Ben Franklin said, "Most people die at age 25, but aren't buried until age 65!"

What he was saying is that WE QUIT DREAMING. Sadly most people die "with their music still in them." I have heard it said that "Hell starts when the person you are meets the person you could have become." (Now that is a scary thought)!

SUCCESS IS THE PROCESS OF LIVING LIFE WORKING TOWARD WORTHY GOALS.  And here is the brain tweak: once you reach your goals, you must set new goals! If you are sincerely and diligently working your business and passion on a consistent basis, and you have your reasons for doing the business in front of you daily, then you are a success!

You are much better off than the person who is following his friends and relatives around in the sheep pasture.  (Get up, go to work, watch the electronic income reducer, go to bed, get up, go to work, watch the electronic income reducer, go to bed, get up ....)

You are expanding your comfort zone. You are developing new communication skills and new friends. If you persist, you will succeed financially! But the mere fact that you are in the game is more than most people can say!

Many people are quick to judge and criticize. So what? Most people are far too concerned about what other people think about them. Guess what? They aren't thinking anything about you! They're too worried wondering what you're thinking about them!

When all is said and done, the only person on this earth you really need to please is the one staring back at you in the mirror. That person really knows if you gave it all you had ... really knows whether or not you've lived your life daily working toward worthy goals. Nobody else's opinion really counts! If everybody thinks you are wonderful but you don't like you, you're doing something wrong!

I just want to know that I have spent my life working toward worthy goals and working to make a positive difference in the lives of people that cross my path. How about you?

Stop chasing financial success! Instead, work on developing yourself and your communication and leadership skills, and the financial success will flow to you. It can't be stopped. Develop yourself first.

Make a difference in other people's lives and the rest will take care of itself.

Thank you Carol for inspiring me with your thoughts. I'm off to passionately work on myself and my worthy goals, and to make a difference...
