Random and Weird...Me?!?

I was tagged last week by the fabulous Suzanne Falter-Barns' alter ego and oh so funny self help guru Serenity Hawk Fire. The task was to share seven random and weird things about me.  Hmmmm....me weird?

It took me a while to choose just seven. They lean on the side of humor but then I love laughing at myself...so here we go:

First Suzanne says I have to share the rules, and I love her perspective on rules, "Rules are for slaves of the Establishment".

1. Link to the person's blog who tagged you.
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself
4. Tag seven random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting a comment on their

My weirdness......

1. I was a "white boot dancing on a pedestal" Go Go Dancer for a local home town band in the 60's. My favorite dance song at the time? Wipe Out!

2. I dreamed as a li'l girl about being Miss America. I finally got the chance. When I was in the 12th grade I was nominated for the Ms. West Florence Beauty Pageant by the Bus Drivers Club at my High School. That nomination along with the fact that I had NO intention of turning MY BACKSIDE to ANYONE forever cured me of that dream.

3. I've always wanted to fly.  In fact, as a child I wrote a letter to Santa asking for "flying powder". In the same week I found out "the truth about Santa". I was devastated. Well...you can't keep a southern woman down for long. This past year like Peter Pan, I flew through the air with the greatest of ease. Check it out.

4. I love to dance! My other dream was to be a June Taylor Dancer on the Jackie Gleason Show.  I had this amazing jump rope tap dance routine that brought the house down. Come over to my house unannounced, and you may find me in full movement - dancing the night away....

5. I was assigned to the "Dumb Reading Group"  in the third grade, a label I owned for years. Not anymore...I'm rockin' and "tootin my horn" in full expression of my boldest self - full out and on my terms.

6. I'm a tantrum thrower!! My mom use to leave me on the floor and walk into the next room to make her point. That didn't phase me at all. I'd just get up, follow her, get right back on the floor and begin again.  That's bold self-expression!

7. I have an eclectic past: I am the child of an alcoholic and a child of divorce, I was raised by a single mom and an absentee dad, I experienced their unconditional love and of course their issues, I have been rich and I have been poor, I have been loved by my "girl friends" and totally ostracized by my "girl friends." I have played team sports and solo sports, I have been married and divorced, I have been a single mom and I have been an empty nester. I have been a Christian, a Jesus Freak and a child of the Universe. I have been overweight and I have been anorexic, I have experienced infidelity and I have experienced soul mate love, I have successfully worked in the corporate world and out of my home. I have been an accountant, a personal trainer, a network marketer, life coach and solo business owner, I have experienced the love and the death of a best friend, boyfriend and my parents. I am a sister and proudly a mom, and finally... I am a spiritual being having a fabulous human experience, living full out, transforming my fears, looking for what's right, laughing along the way, learning step by step who I am and what blows my skirt up! (That's southern slang for rockin' my world.)

Here's who I'm taggin'..
